Hello! My name is Cory Hoffman and I have served as a teacher at St. Andrew Catholic School since 2004. I have worked my entire teaching career here at St. Andrew; 11 years in 6th grade, 1 year teaching middle school language arts and 2 years in 5th grade. I am excited to welcome the students back and to start the school year with the third grade class. I have a great passion for teaching and I work hard to engage students in learning.
I have gained a deeper appreciation for my faith as I’ve gotten older and gone through the ups and downs that life throws at you. I love sharing my faith with my students each and every day. I love watching their eyes light up as they discover a new truth of our faith for themselves!
When I am not teaching I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, going to sporting events, concerts, snowboarding, camping and going to Disneyland. I am a strong advocate for family time and enjoy our adventures together and weekend BBQ's. I love being outside, whether it is spending time at the beach or hanging out in the yard with my kids.
I fell in love with St. Andrew Catholic School the minute I walked in the building. Making the decision to commute to work from Upland with my two children who are students at St. Andrew was one of the best decisions we made for our family. I couldn't imagine having my kids at any other school. St. Andrew is our home!
