Mrs. Rocio Pineda is dedicated to Catholic education. She has over 14 years of service advancing the sustainability and mission of various schools. A San Gabriel Valley native, she attended St. Therese Carmelite School and Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy. Passionate about arts and community, she attended Sonoma State University and graduated from California State Long Beach with a degree in Theatre Arts. During her time at CSULB she interned at the Edison Theatre working with the Public Relations and Marketing Department. It was there in which discovered a new path that would become a career in Philanthropy and working in Education.
Immediately after graduating College she was offered an opportunity, through the Dominican Sisters of Mission San Jose, to lead the efforts in Marketing, Admissions and Development at inner-city Catholic schools in the Greater Los Angeles area. Collectively, Mrs. Pineda has raised over 4 million dollars in the past 14 years.
This is Mrs. Pineda's second year at St. Andrew Catholic School. When Mrs. Pineda is not working, she spends her time with her husband and two young children.
Be who God meant you to be and you will set the world on fire.
