Scholarship Funds

St. Andrew Catholic School is very fortunate to have three separate Scholarship Funds to support our families in providing affordable Catholic education for our students.

Monsignor James Hourihan Scholarship
Endowment Fund An endowment fund named in honor of Monsignor James Hourihan, Pastor of St. Andrew Parish for many years during the last part of the 20th century, has been established through generous gifts to St. Andrew Catholic School.

The earnings from this fund are used to provide tuition assistance to families with a financial need. Contributions to the Endowment Fund can be through an annual pledge, a gift of stock, or the inclusion of the Endowment Fund in a will. Donations to the Endowment Fund are gratefully received.

St. Andrew Catholic School Scholarship Fund
Limited tuition assistance is available thanks to the generosity of many good parishioners and friends of St. Andrew Catholic School.

The Scholarship Fund welcomes donations from families, alumni, friends and the Pasadena community. Donations in memory of a deceased loved one are also gratefully received. Donations through the Annual Giving Campaign can be designated for scholarships.

Miranda Beck Memorial Scholarship Fund
Miranda Beck began her studies at St. Andrew Catholic School in Kindergarten and was a member of the Class of 2010.

In 5th grade she was diagnosed with leukemia which she fought with spirit. In October of her 7th grade year (2009), she lost her battle and went to the Kingdom of God. This scholarship fund supports tuition assistance for current students as we remember her and her "Tiger" spirit.
